Here are a few highlights.
At 1213 Greycourt, Betty Lewis Smith (left) showed her lovely cottage garden to Penny
Anderson just before the deluge.

Here is Barbara Jung standing in the wet grass after the rain and talking about her
eclectic mixture of perennials at 4505 Newport.

At 4319 Fauquier, Sandy Kreiser, Captain of Team B of the Patrol and Diana Presson,
Captain Emeritus of Team A, conducted a "peacock in heat" contest to see who
could be more colorful than the garden.

And here Sandy, owner and keeper of this large backyard with a lovely deck,
demonstrates a new dance, the garden limbo.

Finally, at 1613 Pope, Pat Hardon with some of her 100 varieties of day
lilies and other goodies. We are reliably told that Pat, like other gardeners, never
met a plant she didn't want to move. The other picture is the guy who digs the
holes.

Thanks to these and to the other Bellevue gardeners who opened their
gardens to share with the neighborhood.
