The Bellevue Spring Clean Up is this SATURDAY, MAY 15TH. The City's Dept. of Public Works has committed to provide, free of charge, 4 garbage trucks and 1 or 2 appliance trucks. So, now that we'll have the resources we need to get the job done right, WE NEED YOU TO VOLUNTEER! If you can help out, please arrive at the parking lot on Bellevue across from the CVS at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning ready to get to work - and have some fun along the way. Please wear sturdy boots or shoes and work gloves. Neighbors, feel free to put out your junk but please bear in mind that we cannot pick up wet paint or chemicals, large amounts of yard waste, batteries, and other items restricted by the City's DPW. This is a volunteer-driven effort so please come out and lend a hand if you can. And remember, "a clean neighborhood is a safe neighborhood." Thanks!
