Garden Walk – Linda Decker co chair
Westminster Canterbury will again be a major financial sponsor. WC will print
the programs and the thank you certificates. Progress is moving along nicely. 5
gardens are signed up. Budget is $500. Tim stated that he had met with the
Bellevue Merchants Association, and at that meeting it was brought out that
there is no official starting point for the Garden Walk. Further discussion
ensued, stating that maps are put on everyone’s doorstep prior to the Garden
Walk. Any house is a starting place, and the order is not relevant. A poster
will be done for the event, and Brian Burns is to be tapped for the design work.
He did the original design. The poster would be put into store windows to
announce the Walk scheduled for May 23. Deadline for signing up is April 10th.
Neighborhood Watch – Committee head is needed.
Discussion of auto dialers. Tim stated he is speaking with several prospects
about leading this group, and anticipates placing someone in the role. Plans for
the 2010 year will be implemented more easily with the utilization of block
captains.
Clean Up – tentatively scheduled for mid to late April.
Per Eric Gregory, we can reserve one truck for free, but additional trucks would
cost $500 each. We want people to notify cleanup committee in advance if they
have big items to be picked up. Noted that October 2009 cleanup was cancelled
due to lack of resources from the city.
Plant Swap – scheduled for May 1
Monthly Yard Sales – Idea proposed by Bob Kocher, offering to have yard sales
in Once Upon a Vine parking lot. No discussion or resolution took place.
Dots Back Inn update – No approval obtained yet for renovations. Petition is
on hold.
Security Patrol – Jerry Devoss says new recruits are needed!!
Holton Garden Project – Susanna Raffenot has impressively shown the project
and its progress.

one hour. Reported by Bob Almond.
Tim reported that there will be a CERT official to speak at the General
Meeting at Holton. This was arranged by Mike Labelle.
Motion made by Joellen to donate $500 to Holton Elementary School. We have
always had welcoming support from Principal David Hudson, and have traditionally
supported the school with a check. No check was given during the 2009
year.Motion passed unanimously.
