|
| Call to Order
|
Meeting was called to
order at 1:30 PM by moderator
Larry Jones at Stir Crazy. |
| Business |
Margie
Stetson reported that Doug has the disk for the
auto-dialer for the Watch notifications. She reported
calling the police to report an unusual car parked on the
block for several days. Nothing happened, and a few days
later she phoned the police again and was told it was a
stolen car. |

Lambert will be the speaker.
His district covers most of Bellevue. |
|
|
Deadline is March 31st
for newsletter articles.
Susannah and Mark had met with the Westminster
person in charge of the theater and PR. |
|
|
Discussion of high
pressure gas lines. |
|
Neighborhood Concerns |
The Soul Circus is
slated to be March 22, and they have
been notified that they must keep the volume and
noise down. They will be running for five days.
CPC building is for sale.
Pope Avenue motion brought to the board by Nancy Reynolds
concerning street marking that will emphasize its one-way
status at the non-entering end of Pope. Approved
unanimously. |
|
Garden
Walk |
Discussion of the
Committee chairperson’s strong objection
to having the Garden Walk on the same day as the Merchant
Festivities, a specific event yet to be determined. The
Merchants of MacArthur want to have a festival event of
some type. Further discussion is needed, since many present
felt that the combining of the events would benefit both. In
the fall, it is hoped to have an Art Fair on MacArthur in the
vein of 43rd Street.
Meanwhile, Ginter Park will advertise our Garden Walk,
and we will advertise theirs. |
