Bellevue Civic Association
Board Meeting Minutes
September 10, 2005

Call to Order		Meeting was called to order by
			moderator Larry Jones at Stir Crazy.
				

Business			Proposed referendum for upcoming civic association
			meeting to raise yearly dues to $12 or $15. The
			current amount is $6 and has been in place for quite
			a long time. After discussion, motion made to change
			dues to $15, passed unanimously. (Subject to vote at
			general civic meeting)
			The civic meeting is scheduled for 
			October 18, 2005 at Holton Elementary School
			at 7:00 PM with pizza at 6:30 PM. 
			Proposal was made to send bills for the dues. Roy
			Reynolds stated that he will compose the invoice for
			dues. At present, each newsletter contains a form
			for submitting dues and indicating other areas of
			interest.				
			Statement made that our City Councilman will only
			adopt what has gone through the Civic Association.
			Newsletter – Will go out early next month.
			Sector 412 is headed by Lt. Tim Morley.
			Newsletter – Editor needed. Mary Garber does
			the basic editing, and Mark McIntyre does the layout.
			Suggestion made to list the duties of the editor and
			make it known to all that we need one for the newsletter.
			Primarily a sales director is needed for ads.
			Discussion of peeping Tom sighted at Fauquier and
			Nottoway in a long white Cadillac.
