Board Meeting Minutes
June 4, 2005
Call to Order Meeting was called to order by
moderator Larry Jones at Stir Crazy.
Business Garden Walk – Another success
thanks to Betty Lewis
Smith for organizing and all the participants
for sharing
their gardens. Check out the website for
pictures
of the gardens.
If and when you are walking on Bellevue and
want
to help the flowers keep blooming, please
take a bottle of water and water the flowers.
Upcoming newsletter – Thanks to
Roy Reynolds we
have a new printer, Jim Palmer, who will be
helping
with the printing of the newsletter and in
color!
Photographs will also be done in color.
Articles for the next newsletter need to be in
by June 12.
Ideas for the newsletter –
Doing article on person(s) in Bellevue
Bulk rate mail to get newsletters
out timely.
Dues – Talked about raising the
dues or charge dues
for the subscription of the newsletter.
General meeting – July 19th
will be held at Once Upon
a Vine.
Chris Hilbert, Carole Wolf and someone from
4025 Yoga
will be in attendance. Pizza and drinks will be
served.
Bring a lawn chair.
Neighborhood Watch – Linda Decker
is working to
get a shareware program to be able to call
Bellevue
residents to let them know of any crime in
Bellevue.
CPC – Larry is waiting for a date
for the meeting with
the city.
Arch Repair – Two quotes were
given to
Larry Jones for the arch repair:
Reliable - $8,500
Granite - $15,800
Larry is contacting Hilda on Hermitage Rd
re: Historic Preservation Money
Traffic Calming Project - The
one way entrance
to Pope off of Bellevue is being ignored.
Also speeding is a problem. The speed limit is
25 MPH.
Possible resolution – only allow right turns
off of
Pope onto Crestwood.
Possible resolution – barricade Pope from
entering
off Crestwood.
