Board Meeting Minutes
February 12, 2005
Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 1:30 PM by
moderator Larry Jones at Stir Crazy.
Business Discussion of current Holton
principal, David
Hudson, as cooperative, welcoming of
our
association, and
community-oriented. The General
Meeting on April 19th will be held
at Holton Elementary
School auditorium.
Discussion of the beautification
efforts of the
Sherwood Association at the corner
of Hermitage
and Westwood.
Discussion of newsletter – Usually
about 12 pages.
Distributed quarterly, about 10 days
prior to the
General Meeting. We have 1400
printed, with
extras for merchants. In Bellevue,
there are 1288
households.
Locations of future meetings – July
will be held at
Once Upon A Vine, and the October
meeting will
be held at Holton School.
Garden Walk will be held on May 22,
2005.
Discussed setting up central stand
for fresh
drinking water and BCA awareness.
April 30th – neighborhood
cleanup led by Joe
Robertson. We need to announce at
General Meeting!
Discussion of signage. Motion made
to purchase
stickers showing a uniform “logo” or
typeface
for BCA. Joe will put them on his
staked signs.
Passed unanimously.
Discussion of fund-raisers, such as
Arch Note
Cards, Bellevue calendar.
Discussion of Pope Traffic Calming
Project.
Meeting held 02/08/2005 with Gary
Duvall.
April 30th – Mayor’s Walk
and Roll
Discussion of Chesapeake Bay Act and
its
impact on Bellevue residents living
near Princeton Creek.
